Our Speakers

Anne weaves music, humor, and common life experiences together to bring faith to life. A wife, mother of 7, speaker, and musician, Anne has been a retreat leader both in the US and abroad. Originally from Louisiana, Anne received her Master's in social work at LSU and helped found Hosana House, a home for unwed mothers in Baton Rouge, LA. (Anne was privileged to work with Mother Teresa, who later took over Hosana House.)

For the last 30 years, Anne and her husband, David, have lived in Brevard, NC. They own and direct Camp Kahdalea for girls and Camp Chosatonga for boys - incredible places of faith, adventure, and friendship in the mountains of western North Carolina.

Sister Elfie Del Rosario, FMA, affectionately known as “The Happy Nun,” is a Daughter of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco). Born in Nigeria and raised in the Philippines, she later moved to New Jersey, using her psychology degree to teach children with special needs. Sr. Elfie joined the Salesian Sisters in 2009 and now serves as the vocations director for the eastern U.S. province. Passionate about engaging with youth, she shares encouragement and brings them closer to Jesus and Mary—often with the help of her bubble machine, filled with her signature-scented solution. Fr. Israel "Izzie" Hernandez studied Business Marketing at the University of South Florida before entering seminary, where he earned degrees in Philosophy and Divinity from St. John Vianney and St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminaries. During his college years, he interned at Spirit FM 90.5, sparking a love for Catholic media and outreach. Fr. Izzie finds joy in praise and worship music as a form of prayer and holds a special devotion to St. John Bosco. After two years serving at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa, he was recently assigned to Nativity Catholic Church.

Father Mike Muhr is a master storyteller who connects his personal experiences and life lessons to the Sunday Gospel in a compelling way. He includes cultural references and familiar examples that bring to life the Gospel message, helping us to follow Jesus Christ more closely. Father Mike Muhr is Director of Ministry to Priests for the Diocese of St. Petersburg and pastor of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Clearwater Beach. He previously served as a spiritual director and co-taught courses in pastoral ministry for 14 years at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL.

Olivia is a sixth-generation Floridian and proud mom to four boys—ages 15 11, 10, and the newest addition, who is now 3 years old!  She’s been married to her husband Eric for 16 years, and together they’re active members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Though she never imagined a career in radio (especially after getting in trouble for talking too much in school!), Olivia’s journey with Spirit FM began in 1998 when her associate pastor invited her to serve as a teen representative on the station’s advisory board. That experience sparked a passion for Christian radio and music, leading to an internship, then an on-air role.

She hosted “Real Life Radio” from 2001 to 2007 and co-hosted afternoons on the “Olivia and Jamie Show” until 2009, when she stepped away to focus on raising her growing family. Olivia returned to Spirit FM in 2019 as Promotions Director and morning show host. In 2022, her family was blessed with a rainbow baby, and she now works part-time at the station while spending more time at home with her littlest one.

Maria Pendleton has been a part of the Christ the King community for over 30 years. She and her husband were married at CKS almost 10 years ago, and together they have three children. Maria was honored to share her testimony at the Christ the King Women’s Retreat two years ago, where she prayed for God to continue using her to share His goodness and faithfulness. Since then, she has spoken at several women's groups and even been called into radio ministry, co-hosting The Spirit FM Morning Show. Through it all, she has learned that when we place our trust in Jesus alone, all things are possible. Maria has also embraced the practice of prayer journaling, using it as a way to deepen her relationship with God. She reads from her journal, sharing the raw and powerful words written through tear-streaked pages, as she learns to place her trust in the One who knows, sees, and loves her best. Maria is here to share how trusting God can transform lives and make the impossible possible.

Francesca is a Tampa native who has been listening to Spirit FM her whole life. Through God's grace, she realized her passion for ministry through her internship at Spirit FM in 2018. When not at the station, you can find Francesca working as the Director of Planned Giving for the Diocese of Saint Petersburg, Life Teen Mass Musician and Core Team Member at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Largo, or hanging out with her husband.
