Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
One thing that has always stood out to me about Jesus is his humanity. if I was God, I can not honestly say that I would choose to become human. We live in dirt! Especially back in the time of Jesus. There was just dirt and stink everywhere! Man do I hate being dirty! But because God wanted me to be reconciled with him he chose to live in the dirt with me. He didn't just chose to walk a mile in my shoes, he walked a lifetime in them. Today I am challenged. How can I humble myself the way Jesus did in order to better understand what those around me are going through? How can I become more humble in order to serve?
