Spirit FM 90.5 seeks part time broadcast engineer. This position will assist the Chief Operator/Engineer in a part time capacity. This position requires a keen knowledge of all technical aspects of the broadcast facility and tower site. The applicant must have experience in automation software, computer hardware and software integration. Added experience in networking telephones, PCs and other connectivity. The applicant must also have extensive experience maintaining transmitters, diagnosing issues and making proper repairs. Duties mean being on call 24-7 for short durations when chief engineer is out or on occasional weekends. Most equipment is new or relatively new and well maintained. Knowledge of nexgen, allegiance software, BE transmitters, nautel transmitter, mosely stl, barix boxes. Must also be available for occasional remotes.
