It's interesting how what you are waiting for changes the experience of waiting. Waiting to see a doctor is way different than waiting for your child to come out of surgery. Waiting for your birthday party is exciting. But waiting for an answer, like a job offer or an acceptance letter to college, can be nerve wracking. We can see that in the church seasons too. Waiting for Christmas during Advent feels like a celebration. But waiting for Easter during Lent can feel like a chore. No matter what you are waiting for God wants you to know that He is there with you. As we approach Easter during this Holy Week how is God calling you to wait?
