Today you are making this agreement with the LORD:

Have you ever wanted to rewrite an episode of your life? The problem with time is that it doesn't always work in our favor, or the way we want it. I have days I would like to rewind. This verse reminds me that we can begin again and renew our promises to God and to each other if we have fallen "slack". Today is a good day to recommit to whatever we have decided and feel called to do to bring us spiritually to a better place.
I remember a priest once said: If you think you are doing really well in life and you have nothing to make amends for or change for the better... then you might have time well spent to ask someone you love and trust for their opinion. Whatever path you are on, recommit to what is important, make amends, and let's appreciate the time we have for indeed today is a good day and may God's grace be on us to enjoy it.
