We are renewed in Christ Jesus and we can be more secure of our salvation when we persevere in faith. It is so important that we realize how it is vital to our spiritual lives that we pick up and begin again when we think we have failed God in some way. I know I often said I would pray for someone and then unless I stopped and prayed at that moment or wrote a note to remember I used to forget.
These past days as our anxiety levels have fluctuated every few hours according to the latest weather updates, I noticed how easily we can be distracted and lose patience. During times of crisis, let us try to persevere and be firmly grounded, and not shift from our hope that God is above all, in all and through all the elements of our lives, among us and through us when we reflect the graces He has given us to those we encounter.
