Have you noticed the sparrows this time of year? Spend some time looking up and you will most likely see a sparrow busily carrying things to the nest or chasing away crows. I've even seen them taking "fly in shots" at my son when he waits for me at the car under the small oak trees. The sparrows must perceive him as a threat to them, but he is only in their space. I've always admired the way the sparrows dedicate their time and energy in Spring to keeping their little ones safe. From Matthew 10:29 "Not one sparrow falls to the ground without the Father's knowledge."
God's faithfulness extends for generations and is there for all of us, all of His creation. His kindness endures forever, so let's try today to take some time out and notice how good it is to recognize the small details around us that are so important. When we see the new growth of the buds on the trees, and notice the birds busy, let's remember that we all have a place in the family of things we call earth, and more importantly, we have an eternal place in Heaven waiting for us.
