Brothers and sisters:
Do you not know that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

A young man told how he found faith in the power of love when his younger teenage brother had a completely unexpected heart attack. Their dad managed to keep his son alive and the paramedics took him to the hospital. This older brother had been traveling overseas with his rock band and he returned to the US immediately to be at his brother's bedside. The doctors put the teenager in a medically induced coma to hope that he would survive and also thrive. At nights, the older brother stayed at the hsopital, and read out loud, and he noticed his bother's phone would receive a message about every hour. It occurred to the older brother to check those the messages and read them out loud too. What he did not expect is that the messages were from... their dad. "I love you" was the text, every hour.
To me, this is a wonderful example of the power of love and the faith filled father who kept both sons inspired through such difficult times. The dad inspired the hope that only love brings, and as we are each indelibly made in the image and likeness of the God of Love and Author of Life, let us not forget the Spirit of God lives in us! The son made a full and complete recovery.
