Thus says the LORD:
Observe what is right, do what is just;
for my salvation is about to come,
my justice, about to be revealed.

What if it rains during the eclipse? That's what my kids keep asking. Should we pray for clear skies? What if it is cloudy and overcast? I answered that many people will be very disappointed, and most of us will have to watch it online anyhow. It is the excpectation of this event that we are excited about. I know friends who are searching the stores for the proper eye wear. Hint: they are sold out. Tomorrow, during the eclipse, which the Tampa Bay area should be able to see partially, let us take a moment and thank God for our many gifts. Even if we simply watch it from the tv or our screens, let's praise Him for letting us be together in time as He has called us to be.
With God, we do not have to worry about rainy days or cloudy weather preventing us receiving from his grace. Our awesome God is, was, and always will be. He will reveal His justice and graces for us as we follow Him and His call for us. Let us maintain our steady course, with confidence that clouds and weather events, natural occurrences like eclipses are all part of the bigger picture of our immense universe and yet in that greatness God knows each of us by name and calls us all to be closer to Him.
