I am just going to ask if I am the only one who would like some answers to life's difficult questions. It is with the gift of faith that we hold on to the hope that the way of Jesus will bring some clarity to the difficult moments in our lives, but wouldn't it be nice if we could know everything right now.
I remember when my twins were very young, I had them draw what they thought God looked like. One of them drew a man in the clouds. Later, they stood under an old oak tree and looked up into the white clouded sky, and they were discussing something. I stood behind them because I wanted to hear what they said. One said: "Do you think He is really up there?" The other anwered: "I don't know". The first one said: "He is up there, I think I see Him." I hope I never forget them staring up into the clouds trying to find God. I think that applies to each of us at some point in our lives as we look up and wonder. This weekend let's remember the promises of Jesus as He told us in the Sacred Scriptures before He ascended into heaven. I hope you can look inot John 16. As we pray, let's ask for an increase of faith, and be content just living for today, and each day's moments.
