Many Christians think and pray for the gift of faith, so that we can return the love to our faithful God who is always with us and commit with trust to let God lead our lives. We were also called to fellowship as Paul wrote here, and when that camaraderie and fellowship grows and becomes the gift of romantic and mutual love for one another, it is important to celebrate such a delight! At the station we have an unforgettable weekend celebrating the marriage of Abby and Davis, and the first wedding anniversary of Fernando and his wife, Lisa.
This first Sunday of Advent can be a time for us to recommit to what is important to us: family including extended relatives, friends, new beginnings, and a deeper spiritual walk. Let us live our lives now and not wait for some brighter day, or bigger ship, or better opportunity that may or may not come along. As we strive to answer god's call for us, I hope we make the most out of eachand every ooportunity we will have so that those who look upon us will know we are Christians by our love.
