This is a big weekend for the Bay area as we are expecting a good number of visitors for the upcoming festivities and the Alabama/Clemson football game on Monday. In all the excitement and revelry, will there be time for Sunday Church? Can we look for ways to invite someone to church? Since God has called us to evangelize, we can find the time to show others his love, and what better way to do that than to invite a visitor to attend one of our churches?
This second to last in the 150 Psalms reminded the people of Israel to sing praise and celebrate what God had done for them, because He had chosen them, led them out of slavery, and given them victory. In Israel's history, their glory and the action that gives honor to their people is their readiness, their ability to be able to quickly carry out God's will for them. Let us also be ready, and vigilant, and pray for an opportunity to invite someone visiting our community to Church Sunday.
