Pray For Each Other

By Elle
When we have an answer to a question, and think by sharing that answer we can be of help, isn't that a great feeling?

Do not swear by your head,
for you cannot make a single hair white or black.
Let your 'Yes' mean 'Yes,' and your 'No' mean 'No.'
Anything more is from the Evil One."

Matthew 5:36-37

When we have an answer to a question, and think by sharing that answer we can be of help, isn't that a great feeling?  "Oh Yes", we say, or "No, No Way".  Wonderful, when things are as we say: black or white but what about the shading in between?  Is it possible to pray for someone who we know committed and serious wrong, and also pray for the one who was wronged?  Of course it is!  Is it possible to be really angry at someone we know is headed down a "wrong direction" and yet still pray for them and ask God for the grace to continue to love them?  Yep!  But those circumstances that are difficult for us to understand are times when we can say to ourselves: What if it were me?  What if I said "Yes" when I knew better the correct answer was "No".  What if I closed my heart and eyes to someone in need ('No") when I knew the answer should have been, "Yes, let's see what we can do".  Most lkely we have all been in both those places, and that is why it is so important that we pray for each other, and hopefully find solace knowing a community of prayer warriors then prays for you.
