As I began to speak, the holy Spirit fell upon them as it had upon us at the beginning, and I remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said, 'John baptized with water but you will be baptized with the holy Spirit.' Acts 11:15-16
Ready to hear about a weird experience? I had a listener approach me and tell me that while she was praying for me she had a vision. She saw me as a little boy holding large pitcher in my hands. The pitcher was almost as large as I was and I was pouring the contents of the pitcher out. As I did this she heard the words "Into the canals, cracks and crevices". She went on to tell me that I had a lot to give and that God would honor my giving by allowing the Spirit to pour out of me and into those cracks. What an awesome vision!
I was challenged by this in two ways. First, I need to have faith that God will send the Holy Spirit to fill me up. Second that I will have the courage to share that gift with those around me. After all what good is faith without action?
Heavenly Father, send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth.
