Psalm 80:15-16
Once again, O LORD of hosts,
look down from heaven, and see;
Take care of this vine,
and protect what your right hand has planted
the son of man whom you yourself made strong.
Family time is here! College students are arriving, airports and highways are filling up with travelers as we continue to prepare for the Christmas season. What other time of year do we hear Christian songs (carols) on speakers throughout shopping centers, grocery stores, and even in work settings? Let's try not to let the busy-ness of the season distract us from paying a little more attention, maybe even taking an extra few minutes to help someone who may be visiting find their way, or check in on someone in the neighborhood whom you know may be alone.
Let us take this next week to reevaluate what it is to live as a Christian, and pray that God will allow us to be an example witness. How does God see us following through with the ideas we know to be Christian? Can we plant the seeds of faith and conversion by inviting a family member, or friend or neighbor to church?
