I have always loved this story of the men who lowered their friend through a roof so he could be healed by Jesus. I have made it a point to surround myself with friends like that in my life.(See my post from two years ago) Last weekend as Abby and I got married were charged with the task of leading one another to salvation. We were also surrounded by friends and family who would gladly lower us through a roof to aid in our salvation. This Advent season I am challenged to be that friend to others. I extend that challenge to you. Take some quiet time between now and Christmas to make a list of ways you can help lead your family and friends closer to Christ?
