There are also many other things that Jesus did,
but if these were to be described individually,
I do not think the whole world would contain the books
that would be written.

I interviewed the three men who are today to be ordained priests for the Diocese of St Petersburg. As I read this scripture that closes the book of John, I can only imagine what the people of that time exprienced when they were able to live at the time Jesus as man walked this earth. When I chatted with the three men, I could have spent hours asking them questions about their formation, their early lives, their teen years and so on. What I saw in their eyes and from their hearts was this emanation of joy, confidence and enthusiasm.
Their formation was evident in their answers. One is introverted and learned to comfortably speak in front of a crowd, and another is a musician who wants to use the gift of music to inspire God's people to worship. They were excited but not hyper, humble and confident, solid in their faith. I pray that these young men and others, including you and me, will answer the call God has for us, and use the gifts He has given us, as bravely and as filled with grace as I found these men to be.
