do not worry about how or what your defense will be

Wouldn't it be nice if we all spoke the same language and communicated in a way that there were no misunderstandings, no hurt feelings? God didn't plan it that way and it can be a struggle to communicate to my own children, or loved ones without being misunderstood. I imagine we have all been there, either we spoke too directly or not directly enough, too loudly or too softly. When we pray before we communicate, whether it is the choice of which restaurant for dinner, or if it is as serious as deciding which bills to pay, let's pray before we communicate and learn to rely on the Holy Spirit to give us the right words and the receptive heart that will not only speak what we want to say, but also to hear what the other person wants to say. Civil dialogue begins with each one of us and it's never to late to start.
