I watched a dance conference this weekend...
The Lord is my light and my salvation; of whom should I fear?
Psalm 27:1
I watched a dance conference this weekend and there are competing dance troupes all looking for recognition and awards. As the students prepare for their time in the spotlight the nervousness is evident, and emotions run high. Right before the Tampa group was scheduled, a mom ran back stage to pray with the girls to calm them and alleviate their nerves. How cool is that?
Turns out the girls on stage were flawless. I hope the prayer helped the girls focus. This scripture (the Lord is my light and salvation) makes it clear to us that He is our saving grace, and when we recognize there is no need to fear, we can be more focused and calm.
