To close the inauguration luncheon Friday in the US Statuary Hall, Father Patrick Conroy, SJ led the pray for a peaceful transfer of power, and he also prayed the new president will have an understanding of the difference between good and evil.
This is an important time in our country because there is much that divides us. We remember today that God reigns above it all. Let us pray today that we continue to lean on God's grace to give us a sense of how important it is for us to respect each other, for us to try to understand our differences, to do good and learn to live with each other. God reigns over all, let us praise Him and sing songs of praise!
