What went through Joseph's mind when he learned of Mary and her pregnancy? At the station we have the beauty of seeing Jamie and his wife's newborn. To watch Jamie's eyes glow when he watches his new baby reminds me of Joseph. There is a sense of wonder and awe with a newborn, and many of us pray that we do the best we can with such a gift from God.
There is a song spinning on SpiritFM that overall has a different message than the one I am trying to convey, but if I take just these verses, these are the ones that I imagine may have been similar to what came from Joseph's thoughts. Joseph had to accept what the angel told him, and obey as he did, all the while probably not completely understanding what his role was supposed to be in his own family. I wonder if he prayed to God to magnify his love.
