He is before all things and in Him all things hold together..

Stand Strong! You have probably heard that phrase before and no matter what it means to you personally I hope it brings a good feeling. Jus saying : Stand Strong makes me feel stronger and confident.
Today's scripture reflection verse has the same impact on me. When I say it over and over (in Him all things hold together), I feel secure. I realize there is someone bigger than my little fears and worries. I sense the grandness of God, our God who never for a second stops thinking of us, our God who is infinitely all around us. Then I try to recall a kind gesture that made my day, and I know that random acts of kindness and positive thoughts will multiply around us if we simply start to spread the joy.
I am also reminded of words attributed to St Patrick: Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ above me, Christ within me..
We can stand strong knowing that God is above all and holds all things together.
