John 8: 7

But when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said to them "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."

I wish I could say that I walked away at this point but I didn't. How many times in my life have I cast the stone? If I'm honest it's too many to count. As I look around me I see that many of us have forgotten to put down our stones. They are being thrown around on social media, at work, at family gatherings. But there is hope, if we look forward just a few verses we see Jesus forgive this woman who was about to be stoned to death. After forgiving her he tells her to "go, [and] from now on do not sin anymore". All we need to do to be forgiven is stop picking up and throwing stones. I don't know about you but I'm ready to live my life without the weight of these stones in my hand.
