How refreshed we all feel this week as we put the dryness of Lent behind us. Everyone is enjoying the things they gave up for 40 days and life is good. Hopefully your Lenten sacrifice paved the way for a deeper understanding of the goodness that Jesus offers us in the Resurrection.
This Easter season I hope you celebrate the goodness of Jesus for the full 50 days. Yes, Easter lasts 50 days! Challenge yourself to courageously proclaim the resurrection in your daily life. Set a goal of telling at least one new person each week how God has touched your life during this celebration. You could even invite someone to church with you sometime over the next 7 weeks. Remember, you don't have to wait until Pentecost Sunday to ask the Holy Spirit to work through you. He is already at work in your life every day. Happy Easter!
