For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish

God so loved the world that He sent His only Son. It is said that the great battle in Heaven occurred after it was revealed to all the angels, the mystery of the Incarnation. Jesus, God, would be born of a woman. That caused a great rebellion as Lucifer and his legions proudly protested. The Archangel Michael posed the question: "Who is like God?" Who can refuse to believe? He and his angels took their place in Heaven. (Rev 12)
There is a lot of activity that goes on in a radio station, even when on the air you only hear one person's voice. Just as in our own lives, there is a lot going on "backstage". We believe in a spiritual realm where even though we do not know how much activity there is, let's presume, as we read the scriptures that give us insight, that there is alot more going on than most of us can imagine.
Today, let us remember the spiritual battles that occur throughout our own life journey, our own daily journey. We are given the option basically daily, to be open to Christian charity and love, or not.
Lord, may our decisions be grounded in love and charity.
