Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children
In today's Gospel reading the scribes try to attribute the good work that Jesus is doing to the enemy. They basically call him Satan. But Jesus reminds them that evil will never do good, because Satan knows that doing good will undermine his efforts to bring us down. Why is it so hard for us to remember the converse of that? Why do we continue to allow ourselves to be divided by politics, semantics and rhetoric? The church has set aside today as a special day of prayer for the legal protection of the unborn. As we unite in prayer today for those who cannot speak for themselves, let's commit ourselves to unity within the Body of Christ. Pray today for hearts to be changed for the Kingdom.
