"Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
Jesus heard this and said to them,
"Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.
I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."

There is a saying: Bloom where you are planted". As I prepared the potted plants for the cold weather by moving them away from exposure to the frosty winds, I think that if these plants could talk, they would ask me if they could come inside for a bit and maybe warm up! Ha! We probably all wish we could take a break from being exposed to the routine harshness that can be a part of our daily lives. But if we are true to prayer, then we can warm up and take time to check in with God throughout the day or night. We are placed where we are in this space and time because God has deemed it to be. So let's live in Christ by letting him be born again in us and I hope you can find joy and peace for this new year, no matter how harsh the conditions may become. As Jesus said: He came for all of us. If we are doing well and living in "sunny conditions" or feeling a bit "frosty" and in need of a healing.
