Not that of ourselves we are qualified to take credit for anything as coming from us; rather, our qualification comes from God

We have more information at our fingertips than we've ever had. Unfortunately, quantity of information does not ensure quality of information. The world has gotten louder as it competes for our attention and ascent. How do we parse the true from the false and the good from the bad? Oftentimes we look to the "experts". These are the class of people who we regard as qualified to render a reasoned opinion on the information in question. But even this method of finding the truth isn't always effective. Experts have been known to be wrong, to lie, and to disagree with each other. That's true whether they have a "Dr." before their name or not. Now, I'm definitely not saying you should not listen to your doctor, your teachers, or your boss. What I am saying is that the ultimate expert who won't let us down is God, and those who are truly teaching the truth as revealed through Him. He is always worthy of our trust.
