There's been a lot of talk in the past few years about sustainability. It's a concept that effects many different aspects of our lives. Just one of these is how we use natural resources. This is quite an understandable focus since we want to be able to utilize these resources as long as possible. Non-renewable resources that are widely used are of particular concern since they can't be replaced. St. Paul's use of a farming analogy to illustrate the Christian life shows us that the love we sow into the world not only doesn't diminish the love we have in ourselves... it increases it. The more love we sow into the world, the more we reap - not only love but the fruits of love. Love is the ultimate renewable resource because it increases, both in the lover and the loved, the more it's spread. So, let's show some love today!
