Luke 19:16-17
The first came forward and said, 'Sir, your gold coin has earned ten additional ones.' He replied, 'Well done, good servant! You have been faithful in this very small matter; take charge of ten cities.'
We've all been blessed by God in some way, whether that be through talent, wealth, being born in a free nation, etc. It's tempting to live as though these gifts have been given to us to simply enjoy and to make our lives easier which can cause us to direct these gifts inward. While there's nothing wrong with enjoying the blessings we've been given, they are not only meant for us. They are meant to share. In doing so, you could say, we invest in those around us by being blessings to our neighbor. We bless others, they in turn bless their neighbor, and so on. Actually, you could call this a good pyramid scheme, not designed to make those at the top rich but to make sure as many as possible are the beneficiaries of God's gifts. In sharing blessings, we become the hands and feet of the Lord on earth, which is a blessing unto itself! In fact, this task may be the most important gift we've been given!
