Have you heard of Cotton Candy grapes? Apparently, they are some kind of genetically engineered, super-sweet grape. To my palate, they do actually taste like cotton candy when you first bite into them. It's actually pretty remarkable. Anyway, because they are a very specialized variety, there are really only two companies that provide them to retail stores. It's a product unique to those companies. It's the same thing with people producing good spiritual fruit. If what they produce is truly good, it really only comes from one place, God. Sure, the Enemy can offers up a counterfeit verson of it, but it's not the real thing and doesn't last because it's ultimately rotten at it's core. Lord, help us to produce fruit that is of you today, fruit that lasts and that nourishes our world.
