A big part of living as an adult is learning to prioritize. With the responsibilities we juggle daily, it can be easy to just get overwhelmed if we try to take everything on all at once. Learning to give the most essential and time-sensitive things proper weight is key. Getting wrapped up in knocking out items on a todo list can sometimes become so mechanical that we run out of time to do the most important tasks. This is true with our lives, in general. We should live in a way that puts first things first. Namely, our relationship with God and what we do for the Kingdom of Heaven should be of utmost importance to us. Our lives should be oriented toward our Creator and His will. It's good to ask yourself on a daily basis; "am I living like my relationship with God is the most valuable thing in my life?"
