New Music: Jimi Cravity and Unspoken

By Fernando
On Friday, our playlist grew by two! Get the scoop on our new adds here.
You've probably figured this out by now but... new music is a BIG deal for us here at Spirit FM. We love sharing fresh voices and sounds with you! This Friday, we added two fresh, new singles to our playlist: "Believe" by Jimi Cravity and "The Cure" by Unspoken.

Jimi Cravity was already an accomplished musician and songwriter when he joined the production team at Passion City Church in Atlanta. There he honed his gift for leading worship and his song, "Surrender", was eventually featured on Passion's 2016 worship album. The loss of his son to cancer in 2013 was a dark time for Cravity but it was also inexplicably fruitful and grace-filled. Learn more here.

Unspoken is no stranger to our playlist. "The Cure", is the second track off of their 2016 album called Follow Through. Chad (Unspoken's lead singer) shares what the song means to him on the band's page:
The straight-up-pop cut The Cure was inspired by Chad's firsthand knowledge of what it means to be broken and seeking a remedy. "We live in a messed up world," he says. "I came out of the drug culture. From what I can tell it's even worse now than it was when I was in it. We're all looking for some kind of answers, some kind of fulfillment. That's been the state of humanity for thousands of years. But the good news is, there's something to fill that hunger. There's something to heal that pain. There is a cure and it's Jesus."
