Tonight churches across the world will recreate one of Jesus' most radical acts of service; washing His disciples feet. It was clearly not a job His followers imagined the Messiah would engage in. People held in high esteem do not wash feet. Kings do not wash feet. But Jesus did and in doing so He helps drive home what true leadership looks like. It looks like washing feet. It looks like being willing to give all for the sake of those being led. That is what it means to be a Christ-like leader.

How can I better use the position and/or power you've I've been given to serve others?
