What we do always speaks louder in telling people who we are then only words. We could use the most eloquent words imaginable to describe our relationship with God but if we aren't bearing fruit in our actions, the words ring hollow. Jesus is our ultimate example of this. He not only bears witness to who He is in His words but also in what He does for us. In doing the will of His Father, He draws people closer to Him. That's one reason it's so important to recognize the blessings God provides us. They are concrete reminders for us of His goodness, a goodness that works to draw us closer to holiness. Let those examples of God's faithfulness illuminate your faith, even in the midst of trials.
