Humility is not something you see modeled too often in today's media. Building yourself up to others and highlighting your accomplishments seems to be something that's become a lot more prevalent. It can even been seen as a necessity in "getting ahead". Jesus shows us another way. He doesn't deny who He is or His role but He also doesn't see it as His responsibility to glorify Himself. Jesus' example models for us how to embrace our role fully but not see it is our responsibility to shout our greatness from the rooftops.
Question for Reflection
How can I practice Christ-like humility today?
Lord, help me to fully embrace who I am in you with a confidence that doesn't seek to be glorified.
