Trust is essential in any relationship. Without it, suspicion can fester and grow in our hearts. We can even become cold and distant to toward the ones we love. It's no different in our relationship with God. Trusting Him allows our relationship to grow, drawing us nearer to the Lord. Part of this is believing that God has our best interests at heart and wants what's best for us. It can be helpful for us to reflect on Scriptures that speak about God love and those that describe how He nurtures His people. Also, we can look at places in our own lives when we encountered God's blessings in a special way.
What is keeping you from trusting God today?
Lord, help me to trust you, especially in the difficult times.
