It seems like humility is becoming more and more scarce in our culture. With social media becoming just a part of everyday life, we're often lured by the idea that we not only need to live good lives but we need to share with the world just how good and exciting our lives are. In doing so, we can be tempted to compare the bits of our lives we share with the content we see from others. We can quickly be drawn into feeling like our own PR agent, like we need to 'sell' others on how great we and our lives are. Pride can overcome our desire to be humble. While social media can be a wonderful thing but it's important to guard against this 'comparison trap'. Choosing humility is a sacrifice but it's infinitely worth it.
