To me, one of the most amazing attributes of God is His capacity for forgiveness. No matter how far we've fallen into sin, no matter how far we've strayed from God's love, He is always waiting for us with open arms. In fact, sometimes our capacity to forgive ourselves can hold us back from His unrelenting love. Maybe a sin you keep falling into has you so frustrated with yourself that you feel you can't approach the Lord. Lent is a wonderful time to put aside any bitterness we may have toward ourselves and run once again into the loving arms of God's mercy. He's waiting for you!
Question for Reflection
Am I harboring unforgiveness toward myself?
Lord, help me to never feel like I can't seek your forgiveness!
