(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis on Tuesday evening paid a traditional visit to the Basilica of St Mary Major on the eve of his Apostolic Voyage to Poland.He remained for a short time in prayer before the image of Mary Salus populi Romani, seeking the blessing of the Lord and of His Mother for the upcoming visit to Poland and World Youth Day.
