Haggai 1:6
You have sown much, but have brought in little; you have eaten, but have not been satisfied; You have drunk, but have not become intoxicated; you have clothed yourselves, but have not been warmed; And the hired worker labors for a bag full of holes.
I never really considered the book of Haggai until one day it was assigned in a class at seminary. I read Hg 1:6 and realized it really pertained to what I was going through. The passage states "You have eaten, but have not been satisfied; You have drunk, but have not been exhilarated;" at the time I realized I was dependent so much on my own strength and was too blind to see that the things of the world won't sustain me. So I started to build up the temple of the Lord by visiting him in prayer throughout my day and by giving more time to the things that matter like God, family and my work.
