But during the night, the angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said, “Go and take your place in the temple area, and tell the people everything about this life.” When they heard this, they went to the temple early in the morning and taught.

What are you going to tell them? A messenger of the Lord has just arrived in your email inbox and told you to go out into the world around you and “tell the people everything about following Christ.” What will you share? The work of evangelizing is as essential now as it was then. The world does not know Christ nor his message. Now, like then, they might have a sense or have heard something about what the Jesus life is. So what will you tell them?
Who is God asking me to share the good news with?
Jesus, give me the courage to proclaim your life to the world around me.

Fr. Chuck Dornquast is a son of St. Joseph Parish in Zephyrhills. After graduating from Zephyrhills High School he entered the seminary where he would spend the next 9 years. While in seminary he spent time at many of our diocesan parishes and discovered more and more the heart of Christ the High Priest within him. After ordination, he spent his first 4 years of priesthood as the associate pastor of St. Lawrence in Tampa. He currently serves the Diocese of St. Petersburg as the Director of Vocations.
