Today, meditating on the life and martyrdom of Blessed Father Pro, I reflected on the courage that priesthood entails and all that priests have to go through to live a holy life. I reflected on all those times that priests are in front of the firing squad of our criticism. How many priests have we condemned just because they don't share our projects?
Today I want to invite the laity to put their arms aside and join our priests, to be a support for them and not a stone in their path. Today I want to invite the priests to continue being brave, to take their priesthood until the last consequences as Padre Pro did, and, every time that they are in front of the firing squad of our criticism to hold their rosary and shout Viva Cristo Rey!
What does priesthood mean for you?
Blessed are you Lord for your priests! I humbly ask you to keep them away from the temptations and grant them holiness.

Hoy meditando en la vida y martirio del Beato Padre Pro, me puse a pensar en la valentía que conlleva el sacerdocio y en todo por lo que tienen que pasar para llevar una vida santa. Pensé en todas las veces que los sacerdotes están frente al pelotón de fusilamiento de nuestras críticas. A cuanto sacerdotes hemos fusilado solamente porque no comparten nuestros proyectos?
Hoy quiero invitar a los laicos a dejar las armas de lado y unirnos a nuestros sacerdotes, a que seamos un apoyo para ellos y no una piedra en su camino. Hoy quiero invitar principalmente a los sacerdotes a que sigan siendo valientes, que al igual que el padre Pro vivan su sacerdocio hasta las últimas consecuencias, y que cada vez que estén frente al pelotón de fusilamiento de nuestras críticas, aprieten fuertemente su rosario y griten ¡Viva Cristo Rey!
¿Qué significa para ti el sacerdocio?
Bendito seas Señor por tus sacerdotes, te pido humildemente que los libres de las tentaciones y les concedas la santidad.
