John 6:28-29
So they said to him,
"What can we do to accomplish the works of God?"
Jesus answered and said to them,
"This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent."
A lot of times when we turn to God in prayer, we tend to always ask him for something think we need. Whether it's to help with a personal struggle or just to help get work done at the office, we forget to just spend time with the Lord and listen to His voice. However, every now and then the Lord puts something in front of us that makes us pay attention to Him. The next time you feel the Lord has put something in your path, pay attention and ask the Lord what he wants because His reply may be as simple as today's Gospel. "This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent."
