They Are Still Connected

By Fr. Mike Muhr
One of Fr. Ron Rolheiser's most comforting and encouraging articles pertains to...

"I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me." - John 13:20

One of Fr. Ron Rolheiser's most comforting and encouraging articles pertains to an astonishing implication of being a member of the Body of Christ. This is especially helpful to parents whose children have drifted from the practice of their faith. It pertains to these words of Jesus, "Whoever receives the one I send receives me and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me." Whenever those on the edges of faith show us love or ask for our forgiveness they are loving God because we are his Body. They are still connected! What an important and hopeful insight!

Reflect on how important your connections are for all those away from practicing their faith.
