Mark 3:13
Jesus went up the mountain and summoned those whom he wanted and they came to him.
When I first heard the gospel it reminded me of the vocation to the priesthood. But, in thinking about it, it sounds like vocation in general. God calls us to be ""the best version of ourselves."" As Matthew Kelly says. Because that is what God wants us to be. In my life, I sometimes struggle with studying, I'm not the best at it. This sometimes leads to not very admirable grades, and sometimes I am ready to give up, but I am grateful to even be in school because there are those who can't understand subjects as much as the next person but still work hard and have enough faith in knowing that God will help them through it. That pushes me just enough to the end of the day. Then in the morning I feel refreshed and want to try again and try to be a better me at studying.
