Luke 12:56
You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky; why do you not know how to interpret the present time?
In today's gospel Jesus is showing us that we don't need to focus only on the future but rather that we should take notice of the present. I have, multiple times, made plans for the future, and multiple times they have failed. For me it is a lot better to live my life and let God tell me what to do. When I listen to God, I feel peaceful. Which is also one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
