See Where I Need Healing

By Andrew Zsebedics
One day, when I was younger, my eyes became so irritated...

Luke 8:17

For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light.

One day, when I was younger, my eyes became so irritated with pain. When I had gotten home, my dad saw my eyes and asked me if I would like some eye drops. My dad asked me to sit and be still, and to open my eyes wide open. As I saw the eye dropper move over my eye, I freaked out! When I saw him look away, it was then when I had saw my opportunity. I had taken the eye dropper, thinking my dad wasn't watching, and tried to hide it in another room in my toy box. In the end, he was watching me the whole time as I tried to hide what would help me.

How often do we close "our eyes" when Jesus is there to help us in those tough moments. When we chose to hide and runaway from Christ who desires to heal us.

We can't just run from our problems or hide them away. We have to bring them to Jesus because in the end, He knows our heart and wants what is best for us.

Lord, open the eyes of my heart, to see where I need healing.
