"she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood"
A few years ago there was a guy I knew that encountered a man on the road, he was homeless. My friend saw him and did something I couldn't believe. He parked the car, walked up to the man, and asked him how help. The man replied that he needed to be somewhere that was 15 miles away. My friend said to the man that he'll take him to where he needs, and he did for the next hour he drove the guy around to the places that the guy asked. I could never do this but we should aspire to do this, to offer ourselves however we can, like the poor widow who "offered her whole livelihood."
