If you're feeling weary or defeated, this story from Ezekiel is just what the doctor ordered. Ezekiel is shown a tiny trickle of water flowing out of the temple and down the temple stairs. Within a few verses this trickle becomes an impassable river, bringing life to areas that were dead.
We all face these points in our lives where we feel like we have nothing left to give. It seems like life has left us. It might be in your marriage, your relationship with an aging parent, your attitude towards your job, or even your attitude towards God. You might just feel… lifeless.
